10-a-side formats

Middlesex under 10 matches are 10-a-side from 200, with 5 off per life. Pairs bat 2, 3 or 4 overs, agreed before the match; all but the keeper bowl and nobody bowls more than one over more than anyone else. If scores are level, the side that took more wickets wins, then the side ahead after 19 overs, 18 and so on; the scorer works this through for you.

Herts B leagues (under 12 and 13) play five pairs of four overs too, but never re-bowl wides or no balls and allow three overs a bowler.

Questions

What if we only have 9 players in a 10-a-side game?

Middlesex rules keep the overs the same and the fielding captain picks a batter from the first four pairs to bat again. Set the team to 9 players: the fifth pair then lists player 1 again, and you can rename them.

How many overs can each bowler bowl in 10-a-side?

Herts allows three. In Middlesex all but the keeper bowl, so 20 overs between nine bowlers means two or three each.
